The following selection process will be employed in benchmarking the nominees/contenders and determining the award recipients:
Frost & Sullivan analysts shortlist/nominate major contenders in each award category
Analyst team conducts detailed research and assessment on market performance of companies, and table the findings along with recommendations and justifications (Please refer to selection criteria for methodology employed)
Independent Panel of Judges deliberate the findings of the analyst team and decide on the deserving award recipients
Award culminates at a black-tie dinner where the deserving recipients are honored
Frost & Sullivan follows a rigorous measurement based methodology to select the recipients in each category. The following measurement parameters will be used in conducting the detailed study of each nominated company based on actual market performance indicators. Some variations on specific measurements may apply to certain categories (please refer to individual award category description). Base year for benchmarking study is financial year 2009.

Market share in specific category and growth in market share
Demonstrated leadership in new product introduction and innovation
